I am from Guanajuato Mexico now living and creating in sunny San Diego California.
I drew a bit as a child but wasn't driven to do something with my talent till later on in my life. As an adult I painted and participated in a few art shows but quickly decided to start curating my own to help other artists. After a few months my partner and I opened up La Bodega Gallery in Barrio Logan. Within a few years it became one of the best Art Galleries in San Diego. We curated hundreds of shows and worked with thousands of artists from all over the world. All my time was spent on this and a few other projects including teaching PreSchool. After 12 years of working in the school system I left to focus on Art but still didn't consider launching my art career. In 2019 after 6 years La Bodega Gallery was forced to shut its doors due to gentrification. Shortly after COVID put a halt to our move and reopening. That sudden shutdown brought many changes and for the first time in my life I was able to truly focus on my art. Since then I have been learning and enjoying digital art. I am excited to see where this Art journey will take me. Creating releases my stress, fears and keeps me sane. I am a self taught artist always trying to improve my skill and constantly searching for inspiration. I also love plants and the outdoors.
